Third Bar began in September 2010 with the objective of supporting artists from Northern Ireland and helping them achieve their ambitions. 

Gary Lightbody, lead singer of Snow Patrol, asked Davy Matchett to manage an artist development business in Belfast and Davy named the company after the Snow Patrol song 'Set The Fire To The Third Bar'. 

Since then we have helped artists with the recording and releasing of their music, achieving their first radio plays and playing in venues all over Europe and the USA.
